Reinoud Pleij

Since September 2023, I have been working as an Investment Analyst at StartGreen Capital. Prior to this, I completed a bachelor's and master's degree in Rotterdam, in Economics and Finance. During my studies, my interest in sustainable innovation arose and has since grown considerably. During my internship at Unknown Group, I came into contact with many start-ups in various fields, after which the energy sector appealed to me the most. The tangibility of the solutions and the growing need for sustainability make this sector very interesting to me. At StartGreen, I have found the perfect combination of working with innovative start-ups, utilising and developing my financial background, and contributing to the energy transition. The versatility of the energy sector makes my work challenging and educational. I look forward to making our world more sustainable, step by step, with both societal and financial returns.

Lasting impact
My aim is to make sustainability and innovation a permanent part of my work. I am continuously seeking opportunities to learn and grow, not only personally but also by further developing my technical and financial knowledge. I gain energy from being able to contribute to progress and strive to make a lasting impact.
