She is the first Dutch person to be in the running. <\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Simone Brummelhuis is competing against three other candidates from Germany, Switzerland, and Australia. This is the fourth time the German investor network has presented the award for female business angels in collaboration with Business Angels Europe (BAE). Never before has a Dutch person been in the running for the award for female investors.  <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong><span style=\"color: #2acc9d;\">More business angels<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong>With this award, the German business angel network aims to draw attention to female investors. The organization&#8217;s goal is to have a 25% share of female business angels by 2025. &#8220;There are many dedicated female investors in Europe,&#8221; the organization stated in its press release, &#8220;and this will only increase in the future.&#8221;  <\/div>\n<p>In <a href=\"https:\/\/www.investeerders.nl\/simone-brummelhuis-genomineerd-voor-female-business-angel-of-the-year\/\">the article on investeerders.nl<\/a>, Simone explains why women are in the minority in the investment world: &#8220;This is partly because investors are usually former entrepreneurs. It is therefore a chain reaction.
