In the <\/span><\/span>Imp<\/span>a<\/span>ct <\/span>R<\/span>eport<\/span><\/span><\/a> you can r<\/span>ea<\/span>d about the impact we make with our portfolio companies<\/span>: both positive and negative<\/span>. <\/span>Recently, <\/span>Coolset<\/span> measured the <\/span>climate impact <\/span>of <\/span>StartGreen<\/span> itself <\/span>. <\/span>The results show that we are so consciously focused on <\/span>minimizing our <\/span>greenhouse gas <\/span>emissions that we have been awarded the <\/span>‘<\/span>C<\/span>l<\/span>imate Conscious<\/span>‘<\/span> certificate.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"To measure and minimize our own greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, we collaborate with <\/span>Coolset<\/span><\/a>. They provide an automated platform that allows companies to measure, analyze, reduce, and offset their carbon footprint. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Enriched estimates<\/span><\/b><\/h6>\n

Coolset measured StartGreen’s climate impact across <\/span>Scope 1, 2, and 3<\/span><\/a>. They did this based on our payment data, which is automatically imported via our accounting software. Coolset estimates a carbon footprint for all transactions. These estimates are then enriched through human analysis. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Scope 3 largest share<\/span><\/b><\/h6>\n

In 2022, our estimated greenhouse gas footprint was 220 tonnes of CO2, primarily caused by Scope 3 emissions from our suppliers (97%). Scope 3 includes all emissions that are not directly related to the company itself, but for which the organization is indirectly responsible. In most cases, these emissions are related to organizational support services (32%) or externally purchased equipment (20%). This year, we have planned several initiatives to reduce our emissions. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n
