In the first half of 2025, Energiefonds Overijssel – one of the funds managed by StartGreen Capital – has once again demonstrated how sustainable investments create tangible impact for the province, entrepreneurs, and residents.
With a portfolio of €297 million, the fund invests in energy conservation, renewable generation, circular projects, and energy infrastructure.
The impact results speak for themselves:
- In the first half of 2025, €19 million in new financing was provided (total since the fund’s inception: €417 million, spread across 218 financings).
- Avoided CO₂ emissions (so far in 2025): 19,358 tons (expected total CO₂ reduction: 407,003 tons)
- Funded projects meet the energy consumption needs of more than 184,000 households
- Nearly 2,400 temporary and 212 structural jobs have been created or retained.
