Borski Fund

Borski Fund focuses on female tech entrepreneurs in the Climate tech, Femtech, and Future society Tech sectors. Through this, we aim to contribute to a diverse Dutch entrepreneurial landscape and a more balanced situation with more women in decisive positions within the investment landscape.

Borski Fund believes in diversity, gender equality, and fair opportunities.

The Borski Fund is an innovative Venture Capital fund that improves access to capital for companies that have a female (co-)founder, or bring a product or service for women to the market.

For whom

The Borski Fund helps female entrepreneurs realize their ambitions by leveraging their own entrepreneurial experience and opening up an extensive network, depending on specific needs.

Instruments

The fund provides equity in the form of seed capital and expansion capital. This is done through shares and (convertible) loans.

Ticket size

From €250,000 up to a maximum of €5,000,000.

Date of establishment

Borski Fund was founded at the end of 2019 as a collaboration between The Next Women and StartGreen Capital, but operates as an independent fund management company.

Sustainability goals

Participations of Borski Fund primarily bring SDG 5: Gender Equality and SDG 3: Good Health & Well-being, SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy, SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure and SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production closer.

Criteria

Borski Fund offers venture capital and growth capital for ambitious companies with at least one female founder/entrepreneur

Are you or do you have:

A female entrepreneur/(co-)founder or an innovation that promotes gender equality or increases the availability and access to services, resources, and innovations for women (Femtech)

A technology-driven company with a business model based on a new or substantial creative invention, an innovation with a unique proprietary/IP position, or another competitive advantage;

A strong founder team with a personal stake/investment in the success;

A company with a minimum turnover, GMV, or traction of around €500k?

A scalable company with growth potential and strong ambitions?

A company that values support from a diverse team?
