Triple Solar, a PDENH portfolio company and producer of smart PVT heat pumps and panels, has joined forces with a German provider of e-home solutions. This company supplies solar panels, batteries, charging stations, and heat pumps directly to private individuals. With this collaboration, Triple Solar’s smart PVT solutions are now more widely accessible to the German public.
Suppliers with a broad range of CO2-saving home solutions contribute significantly to the energy transition in Germany. Triple Solar’s PVT heat pump fits perfectly into that offering: the heat pump combines electricity generation with heat production, thereby reducing CO2 emissions when heating and cooling homes.
Since joining forces, the German branch of Triple Solar—with its own installation teams—offers home batteries, charging stations, and PV heat pumps & PV installations directly to private individuals, for both sale and rent. This represents an expansion of the existing offering in Germany.
Silent alternative
Currently, air-to-water heat pumps are primarily installed in existing buildings in Germany. If these cause noise pollution in densely populated regions, there is often no alternative. Triple Solar’s silent PVT heat pump without an outdoor unit now provides the solution for this.
Logical next step
Triple Solar introduced this PVT heat pump in March 2023 at the international installation trade fair ISH in Frankfurt. This generated such a positive response that further expansion in Germany was a logical and necessary next step.
CEO Triple Solar DE Daan Belgers: “Over the course of the year, we will further expand our existing portfolio with PVT systems, allowing us to better respond to our customers’ needs and strengthening our pioneering position in Germany as a provider of e-homes.”
Investment Manager PDENH Jonathan Moed: “Germany offers a large and interesting market that aligns well with Triple Solar’s PVT solution. By joining forces, Triple Solar can achieve a fast track introduction of PVT heat pumps into the German market.”
